  1. Self-monitor writing by rereading
  2. Adding more detail and revising stories: Pair/Share (what else do you want to know about my story, do you see any changes that I should make?) poetry; editing and punctuation

MATH

Unit 14

Grouping and counting objects by 2's, 3's, 5's, representing multiplication/division situations using manipulatives and drawings, collecting, organizing, graphing, and analyzing data, applying counting and grouping skills, bar graphs, using data to solve problems

Unit 15

  • Exploring and identifying cylinders, spheres, and prisms
  • Describing 3-dimensional shapes using their properties
  • Using geometric concepts and skills to problem solve

Reading

  2. Remember to send notes when your child is to travel home a different way.
  3. Please sign up for a spring conference on the enclosed sheet if you haven't previously done this.
  4. If you are interested in chaperoning be sure you have registered in the office as a parent volunteer.
