Character Education Program – The Character Education Program has been and continues to be an important way that we remind our entire school community to strive to be our best. The Guidance committee organizes videos, activities, and information on the character trait for the month. For the Kindergarten and 1 st Grade, our guidance counselor focuses on the trait in classroom guidance sessions each month.
This year when students display a character trait, they can be recognized in the Baileywick Best Hall of Fame with their name on a brick. Every Monday, the principal or assistant principal puts children's bricks on the wall who have been nominated by their teachers for using a character trait. These children are given a special Baileywick's Best pencil. The Baileywick's Best program offers a special sense of pride for all students' bricks build our Hall of Fame as the year proceeds.
Students who do an outstanding job using the character traits have their name put on a gold brick. All students who recieve bricks receive a note to take home to their parents.
